Below you’ll find a description of our standard services. However, we’re very flexible. If there’s something special you’re looking for, please ask us. Or, if you’re at all unsure of anything in the description below, ask away!
SCANNING
- We’ll convert each of your photos into a digital file that can last forever.
- We’ll accommodate any photo size, up to 8-½ x 11.
- We’ll work in color or black & white. Whatever you have.
- Older color photos that have yellowed and darkened over time will be restored to their original color and brightness (see below).
- Scans are performed at 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch), to allow for high-quality printing.

- We’ll organize your photos into folders however you’d like them organized and labelled. Above are some examples.
- All folders will be stored on a clean flash drive for you.
Restoring Original Quality
- Many older color photos have yellowed and darkened over the years.
- Where possible, we will restore the original color and brightness of your old color photos.
What You’ll Receive
- A clean flash drive (for either Mac or PC) with all of your photos organized into folders of your choice.
- Each photo image is saved as a JPEG. This makes it easy for you to email, post, print, copy, store and move your digital photos.
- Your original printed photos will be returned, well taken care of.
- Access to us by email or phone for questions or assistance, as long as you’d like.
What Is a ‘JPEG’?
It’s a standard format for compressing file images. It stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group. This format makes it easy for you to email, post, print, copy, store and move your digital photos.
